What you will do

As Ranch Foreman you will oversee our farming operations at two sites approximately 30 miles apart. One is a 15 acre field where your job will be to make sure as much fruit as possible is picked by robots every day. The second is a farm from which you will ensure bulk harvested fruit is sent to our automated packline daily. To accomplish this you will:  

  • Work with the ranch manager to optimize daily robotic harvest operations.
  • Set up tests for operational formats that result in cost savings to the grower.  
  • Serve as the Research & Development team’s customer and provide feedback to improve performance and reliability of the harvesters.
  • Manage multiple harvest crews bulk picking strawberries.
  • Communicate with our Field Operation managers for strawberries and packline.

What we will look for

  • Some who:
    • has confidence to work alongside our customer’s operations teams as an equal.  
    • understands strawberry farming from harvest -> qa -> packing 
    • can manage multiple harvest crews. 
    • has great written and verbal communication skills. 
    • Is bilingual in Spanish and English.

What you can expect from us

  • Pay range for this position is $55,000 to $62,000 per year. This position is non-exempt (eligible for overtime).
  • The position is seasonal from February 20 to early November.
  • You will be provided a company vehicle to drive during work hours.
